Yes, our site is designed to work best with a minimum resolution of 1024 x 768. Anything larger than that should be fine too. To change your screen resolution for Windows users, first open the control panel. Then click on Display to open it. Next click the Settings tab. In the lower left you'll see a slider to increase your resolution (some older computers may already be maxed out, in which case you would need to upgrade your monitor at least). Move the slider to the right to increase the resolution and make sure it is at least 1024 x 768. Once you click OK or Apply, the screen will change and you will be asked to confirm the change is acceptable. Click OK and you are done.
Please make sure you have the latest version of Java which you can download here.
On rare occasions, some computer setups have firewalls that prevent either Java applets, or images from getting through. For those computers, we suggest turning off your firewall before starting your internet browser (but please do so at your own risk), then open the browser and go directly to www.technologo.com and try again. If it works then you know it is your firewall that is causing the issue. (Be sure to turn your firewall back on immediately after the test). Unfortunately there is no way that we can support the hundreds if not thousands of different hardware and software firewalls that exist today. If you determine that the firewall is the cause, please consult the documentation for that product to determine the proper course of action.
The logo is probably a jpg in CMYK format; it must be in RGB format to be used with our software. You can make this change in Photoshop or in a similar photo-editing application. If you don't have one, you may be able to find graphics editing software that will make this change on download.com or tucows.com.
Any of the following factors can cause the website to appear to be working slowly: your computer is doing a lot of tasks; your internet connection is slow, inconsistent, or very busy; your ISP is very busy; the internet is very busy; or our servers are very busy. Please also remember that on our website, you are using an application (or program), not just a simple text web page so that alone will make it take longer to load.
We use two different monitoring services to let us know if there is a problem with the website and to track our downtime. Our website is available more than 99.5% of the time.
