Portfolio
This is where you can store all your clients' logos and virtual samples you have created. Your free portfolio also gives you access to our Idea Express flyer builder, and our newsletter builder (both of which can include virtual samples).
A portfolio is a free storage space online that allows you to upload all your clients' logos and store them there until you delete them. This is useful so that you don't have to keep uploading them each time you want to make a sample. It also allows you to saved completed samples as well as incomplete samples that you can come back to later. There are other free tools (like the Idea Express Flyer Builder, and the newsletter builder) accessible only from your portfolio.
Having a portfolio allows you to upload your artwork once, and have access to it forever (or until you delete it). It also gives you free access to our other tools: Idea Express flyer builder, newsletter builder, folders, and contacts, and stores all virtual samples you've created.
You can upload and store logos/artwork, create folders, create contacts, manage your virtual samples and folders, build an Idea Express flyer, build a newsletter, and of course view all of your virtual samples and uploaded artwork.
Click the "add art" link on the right hand side of the screen. Then click "browse" to find the image file on your computer that you wish to upload. Once you find it, double-click on it. Then click "upload". (Please note the "accepted file types" link on that page. This link explains any image requirements needed to use images with our software.)
In order to edit your virtual sample, you must have saved it as an editable link. If you click on the name of the virtual sample from your portfolio and it opens in the virtual sample laboratory, you can edit it. Otherwise you'll have to start over. To print your virtual samples, please see the "How do I print virtual samples from my portfolio?" FAQ below. To save a virtual sample to your computer from your portfolio, it will need to be saved in JPEG/snapshot format. Click on the name of the virtual sample to open it in a printable format. Then simply right-click on the image and select "save image as" to save it to your computer.
If your virtual sample was saved as a snapshot, simply click on the name of the sample to open the sample on a printable page. Then select Print from your browser's File menu, or click the Print link in the print manager pop-up window.
If it was saved as a link, click on the name to open the link. Once the virtual sample opens, mouse over the product and a link to "printable page" will appear in the upper right of the image. Click on that link, then use your browser's print function to print it.
Beside each virtual sample in your portfolio, you'll notice a small checkbox. Click inside the checkbox for each sample that you want to send. Then scroll to the top of the portfolio and click "e-mail items" just above the portfolio home header. From there, it's simply filling in the form: e-mail addresses, names, and messages if desired.
To create a new folder, type the desired name of the new folder into the text box, then click the "new folder" button. To rename a folder, select it from the drop-down box, click rename, type in the desired new name, then hit enter or click "ok". To delete a folder, select the folder you wish to delete from the drop-down box and click the delete button. WARNING: This will delete all items in that folder so be sure this is what you want to do before deleting.
Yes. Included in your portfolio are the flyer builder and newsletter builder. The flyer builder allows you to create professionally designed flyers to send to your clients. These flyers also allow you to include virtual samples in them. The recipient simply has to click on the product image to open the virtual sample you've created for them.
The newsletter builder allows you to create professional looking newsletters quickly. These can include updates at your company, interesting facts (provided by you), and even virtual samples that you've created. Each article in your newsletter allows you to include one link to a virtual sample.
Click the "build newsletter" link in your portfolio to start the process. From there, follow the on-screen instructions to create your newsletter. If you have further questions, please take a look at the demo here.
First, select all of the virtual samples you wish to include in the flyer by clicking the checkboxes beside the names of each virtual sample so that a checkmark appears.
